With the rapid growth of economy, a huge amount of villige people surge into the big cities. They live there and work there. However long-term speaking Migrant students’ education has become a social problem. Because of the difference in residency mangements between cities and rural areas, the city government refuses to take the responsibility to provide a way to solve this practical problem in migrants schooling, which raises the problem that students are pushed into the society, and the markets decide the fate of children. The existance of Migrant Schools is the necessary result of the lack of government inability and inadeque care, it is also the result of social power and self-help from the migrants and the result of the growth of China’s opening up developmennt.

Presently, there are more than 300 migrant schools with over 200,000 migrant children in Beijing. Nither government or non-government can provide an acqurate data on the numbers of children because of their mobility. Besides 63 migrants schools are authorized, the rest 200 schools are in the state of illegal. They are marginal in the city and they locate at the edge of urban areas and the suburbs, such as Migrant markets, distribution markets, villeges, and migrant neiborhoods. Their schools are abandoned schools or factories which have been repaired. So with the inadequancy of the condition, they are in danger of being torn down or forced to move. Migrant families are heavily burderned, parents work their heads off in order to make a living thus neglecting family education and communication with their kids, which leads the kids wandering at the edge of society thus becomes the potential threat of the society. Attentions made to the life and development of the migrant kids are the attentions for future social stability and harmony.

The center of our work is to promote a way of communications and assoiciations among migrant schools with relative information in Beijing, and to build up a healthy mutual interactive enviorment for further development through conferences, participations of public and demoratic decisions.

We have a series of activities which covers the lectures of law, pracise court, lawsuit analysis, human rights and obligations, educations rights and protections, we also provide the health education lectures such as sex, mental health, council, drug, aids and other infectious and contagious diseases. Our aim is to help migant kids and their parents improve their self-protection and help migrant kids to better understand and communication with their parents, teachers, schools and society. We try to imbue the students with a heart of gratitude to our country, school, teachers and parents thus deepening their relationship and understanding to better support the private education.

Our aim is to break the unspoken rules of an unjust society, and build a just, transparant and open-minded society, which could grant each individule the rights, obligation and let them work and live with respect. We also thrive to promote the idea of democray of management and distribution in the modern enterprises.

We advocates the equality of workers in enterprises and in the nation. Let the enterprises have the social oblication to look into the public welfare to support and help the development of local welfare organizations. We also try to improve our serve to better facility the migrant group.
